Freeport McMoRan Observatory

Gaze through one of the largest public observatory telescopes in Louisiana for a spectacular glimpse of the night sky. Designed to provide an ultimate view of astronomical phenomenon, the Observatory's high-tech-state-of-the-art telescope and panoramic, open-air view allow visitors an opportunity to observe, first-hand, the night skies and to achieve a better understanding of the science of astronomy.
